English Teacher - Full time, Permanent
The English Department at Rangitoto College invites applications from innovative and enthusiastic teachers who have a deep interest in both pedagogy and in English as a subject. The English department is collegial, organised and well-resourced and is part of an exciting, high-performing school which aims to give every student the opportunity to excel. We invite applications from experienced teachers, as well as beginning teachers who can take advantage of our excellent PCT programme. Staff are expected to contribute to the rich wider life of the school. This is a permanent position which commences Term 1 2019. Maths Teacher - Full time, Permanent
We are seeking an enthusiastic teacher of Calculus and/or Statistics to join our successful and collegial team at Rangitoto College. There is the opportunity to teach I.B. and NCEA. The College aims to give every student the opportunity to excel. The applicant should be able to teach to Year 13 and should state Maths specialty. Teachers at the college are expected to contribute to the co-curricular life of the school. This is a permanent position which commences Term 1 2019. Support Staff Vacancies

Accommodation Manager - full time, permanent, 52 weeks
Do you see yourself as a key contributor to the positive experience for up to 400 International Students that study at Rangitoto College annually? Every year over 400 international students from around 30 countries, add cultural diversity to the character of Rangitoto College. To assist these students, Rangitoto College has a dedicated international student office with 6 full time staff, 2 part time first language support people and 2 academic deans. Some students come for short summer programmes; some stay for 6 or 12 month transition or 'Gap' experiences, and others stay on long-term to graduate in New Zealand. Our Accommodation Manger role is challenging middle management position whose success relies on the ability to source great homestay accommodation. You will be a key contributor to expectation that all our International Students go home with a positive experience at Rangitoto College and living in New Zealand. This position reports directly to the Director of International Students and our successful applicant will have proven experience in managing staff along with an easy manner with our wider community network of host families. You will be able to demonstrate an understanding and empathy for English as second language students and the challenges they will face in a new country and home life. Whist knowledge of the Code of Practice and experience in a similar role is beneficial, our successful applicant will possess an outstanding ability to positively communicate with students and host families. Someone with a high EQ will gain great job satisfaction in this demanding and busy role. Finance Administrator - International Department, Full time permanent, 52 weeks
Do you enjoy keeping the books in order?  Would you like to be part of a small team that contribute to the positive experience for up to 400 International Students that study at Rangitoto College annually? Every year over 400 international students from around 30 countries, add cultural diversity to the character of Rangitoto College.  To assist these students, Rangitoto College has a dedicated international student office with 6 full time staff,  2 part time first language support people and 2 academic deans.  Some students come for short summer programmes; some stay for 6 or 12 month transition or 'Gap' experiences, and others stay on long-term to graduate. Our International Finance Administrator is responsible to the Director of International Students and works closely with our Finance Manager to ensure all aspects of accurate and timely students financial record keeping.   Our successful applicant will have proven experience in reconciliation and be a fastidious detailed administrator. As there will be interaction with students, parents and home-stay families the ability to communicate clearly with all stakeholders is important.  You will be able to demonstrate an understanding and empathy for English as second language students and the challenges they will face in a new country and home life.
